GardenPest ControlBiological Pest Control → Bean Beetle Control

Bean beetles feed on any variety of bean plants, as well as plants such as alfalfa, clover, cowpea, and kudzu. They are the most damaging pest of beans. They eat the underside of leaves, causing a skeletonized appearance.

They can be found throughout most of the United States, except the Pacific Coast.

The bean beetle parasite, or pediobius foveolatus, is a small wasp that feeds on bean beetle larvae. Try this organic method to eliminate bean beetle pests.
