Dog urine is a concentrated solution of ammonia AND salts. It overwhelms grasses and soils, creating a "dog spot" or "dog hot spot" where grass no longer grows.
Guard Dog™ attacks the problem in three ways:
consumes the ammonia
binds the salts
increases soil permeability
This unique, multiple-action formula provides homeowners with consistent performance.
Both Guard Dog™ Ready to Spray Concentrate and Guard Dog™ Ready-To-Use enable lawns to recover from dog urine spots under a variety of conditions in a variety of environments.. Additionally, Guard Dog™ Ready to Spray Concentrate is the only product on the market that can not only repair, but prevent dog urine damage to your lawn.
Guard Dog™ Ready to Spray Concentrate can treat up to 5,000 square feet of lawn. Its hose sprayer nozzle attachment can accurately meter applications for prevention or treatment of urine damaged lawns. It can be used
successfully from early spring through late fall.
Guard Dog™ Ready-To-Use's handy trigger spray container allows homeowners to treat dog lawn spots as soon as grass yellowing begins to occur. Just two to five pumps from the Guard Dog™ RTU sprayer can reduce yellowing and promote grass recovery. For best results, treat spots as soon as possible prior to rainfall or watering.
Important Application Tip: For best results, walk slowly backwards through the target area while applying Guard Dog™ Ready to Spray Concentrate with the hose sprayer nozzle attachment. It will take about 3 minutes to apply Guard Dog™ to 1,000 square feet of lawn, and about 7 minutes to apply Guard Dog™ to 5,000 square feet of lawn. For more detailed instructions see Guard Dog™ FAQ.
Note: Guard Dog™ Lawn Protectant and Pet Peeve™ Lawn Protectant are the same product except for the
label.
