HorseBiz is a horse management software program that allows you to keep horse records, track horse activities, breeding records, feed purchases, farrier visits, show records and awards, veterinarian visits and more. We looked a lot of software before choosing this product from OCA Technologies. Most software programs were to big and expensive offering you checking and other programs most people do not want to move to and relearn e.g. Instead of using QuickBooks use the horse software programs checkbook. HorseBiz does not have a check book.
Our instructors’ found it easy to use and were quickly recording our horses’ vet and farrier records with ease. We needed a program we could use on our network. Although it does not allow multiple users at the same time on a network it works just fine and was not hard to setup (due to complexity of networks, the company does not support network setup). The program also offers flexibility with inventory and feed. It is ideal for schools and boarding operations. You can keep track or horses, their owners (and contact info) as well has vet, farrier and training. All can be printed out in neat reports for the owner… very impressive for only $99.99.
