Dr Rudolph's Steiner's method used by Dr. Pfeiffer to create this amazing product: a universe of microorganisms!
This inoculant is easy to use: simply mix with water, allow to
ferment, and activate for 12-24 hours. Spray onto the compost piles as
you make or turn them. Each unit inoculates 1 ton (1.0 cubic yards = 3
ft x 3ft x 3ft) of raw materials and contains 55 strains of
nitrogen-fixing, decomposing soil bacteria, enzymes and hormones in a
herbal base. For back yard composting, mix a pinch of starter in your
compost bucket each time you add it to the pile, thereby continually
inoculating your compost pile. Generally 2-5 gal. of water is sufficient
for diluting 1 unit of starter for 1 ton of compost. Detailed
instructions included!
How it works
Inoculants can speed up the decomposition process in your compost by adding additional micro-organisms to your compost pile.
Specially selected and cultured strains greatly increase the quality of the finished compost.
They help the end product by providing proper nutrition to your
plants. Many people who compost use inoculants and consider them
essential. They are easy to use. Simply mix with water, allow to ferment
and activate for 12-24 hours, then spray onto the compost piles as the
piles are being made or turned.
